Baseball
Learn the proper mechanics of throwing, catching, and hitting. Drills are designed for the beginner as well as the intermediate player.
Cheerleading
Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading through fun and entertaining moves and cheers that will enhance skill development as campers learn the importance of teamwork
Basketball
Learn proper mechanics in dribbling, shooting, and footwork. Drills are designed for the beginner as well as the intermediate player.
Soccer
Learn the fundamentals of soccer through fun and entertaining games that will enhance a player’s skill development as he/she learns the importance of teamwork.

Campers will be given opportunities to work with mixed media throughout the week and bring their masterpieces home.
Join Advanced Academics in Pooler for their weekly thematic summer day camps, each Monday – Friday from 8AM-3PM for $140 a week. Before camp is available from 7AM and after camp is from 3-5PM.
Elementary students will have daily activities in Writing, Phonics, Language Arts, Guided Reading, and Guided Math.
Middle school students will have hands-on STEM based activities as we merge core content areas of English, Math, Science and History.

Yes, Savannah and Tybee Island’s St. Patrick’s Day parade & festivities are cancelled for 2021 due to the pandemic.
However, Tybee Island residents plan to celebrate the holiday in a creative, socially-distanced way: the Paint Tybee Ireland Green project with houses and businesses bedecked in green and St. Patrick’s decor.

Toddler Tuesday is a program for 1-4 year old children and their caregivers that focuses on one of Oatland’s animals, or a relevant nature theme. The program will meet at the picnic pavilion and will include: singing, fingerplay, a story, an encounter with one of our animals, and a take-home craft.
UPDATE: Cost for the program is $5 for children and $5 for adults.
Registration is required and there are a limited number of spaces so reserve early.
Registration is made online, but the program fees will be paid at the front booth on the day of, and not in advance, so please, if you know you won’t make your reservation, please call and cancel so organizers can open the space for someone on the waitlist.

Georgia State Railroad Museum is a large, open-air historic site with plenty of space for safe social distancing. Staff and volunteers handing out treats will be positioned throughout the outdoor museum. Blacksmith demonstrations by Coastal Heritage Society will occur throughout the day as well as a special egg wood turning demonstration by Lowcountry Turners.
Cost to attend Eggstravaganza: $5 per person for all participants, ages 18 months and older.

Coastal Heritage Society in Savannah will host Family Day on Sat. March 13 2021 at all six of its museums including Savannah Children’s Museum, Georgia State Railroad Museum & Old Fort Jackson. Guests can enjoy interactive exhibits and engaging tours at each site through family-friendly, immersive activities that illustrate the narratives of Savannah’s past.
Georgia State Railroad Museum will have blacksmithing demonstrations throughout the day and will once again welcome visitors to take a Site Tour by Train.
Savannah Children’s Museum will have several activities including crafts, a scavenger hunt and a bottle rocket launch at noon.
Savannah History Museum will feature the popular Loyalists & Liberty Tours from 10am to 2pm.
Old Fort Jackson will thrill guests with cannon firings at 11am and 2pm.
Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah Children’s Museum, Old Fort Jackson, Pin Point Heritage Museum, and the Loyalists & Liberty Tour @ Savannah History Museum all feature large, open-air spaces and all sites will employ enhanced sanitizing and distancing protocols.
