Kids eat for free @ the ABC

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

(Update: As of the week of Sept. 10, Magic Marc is taking a hiatus from entertaining during kids-eat-free night at the Savannah Atlanta Bread Company while the restaurant undergoes renovation. Look for his return in late October. Meanwhile, kids continue to eat for free Thursdays. Magic Marc is expected to start entertaining at the Bluffton ABC in late September or early October during that restaurant’s kids-eat-free nights on Wednesdays. Call (843) 815-2479 for an update.)

The Atlanta Bread Company in Twelve Oaks Shopping Center dishes out a different twist on happy hour every Thursday.

WTOC’s Magic Marc of the children’s TV show “Magic Marc” provides some sly sleight-of-hand and mind-reading mastery for kids from about 5:15-7 p.m. during the Thursday family nights. Children 12 and younger receive a free kid’s meal for every paid adult meal.

For right now, Magic Marc family nights are only scheduled through September. So bring your kids to the restaurant on Abercorn Street to show support and make magic night a regular event.

Moms, you can then sit back as Magic Marc, who’s also a father of two, teaches your kids a few tricks. And yes, live animals are involved. Below is MM with pet Bingo.

Enthralled kids, magic and free food. Sounds like a perfect happy hour. If only something stronger than lattes were served to award the mamas for being savvy enough to know that Magic Marc would be kid-pleaser.
