Scribble Art Studio’s Portfolio Builder sessions in Savannah are ideal for those students wishing to build a strong portfolio of diverse work for personal purposes or for entrance to an arts related academy.
2021-2022 sessions begin Mon. Aug. 30 2021 and continue until the end of the school year.
The cost for each block of five classes is $200 and includes all materials needed for the class.

Online registration is now open for 2021 KiDS Rock Savannah 2:30PM Sun. Nov. 7 2021 @ Daffin Park in Savannah. Children ages 1-17 are invited to participate.
New this year: a toddler race for kids ages 1 year-3years. The race distance is 80ft for the toddlers. There will also be a 1/2 mile (ages 3-8) or one mile (ages 5-17).
Each participant gets a t-shirt, medal, bag and racing bib.

Babies younger than 2 meet Tuesdays at 11AM; ages 4.5-7 meet Monday afternoons at 4PM, and family classes for ages 0-7 combined meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 10AM.
With our region’s recent back-to-school season in full gear, WTOC reported how it brought an increased number of COVID-19 cases for kids. SouthCoast Health Pediatrician Dr. Nelson Elam shared how his team is working to accommodate the rise in sick pediatric patients during this back-to-school COVID surge, such as adding new appointments, evening hours, and rescheduling well checks for children who are not sick.
Along with talking Dr. Elam, WTOC interviewed a parent about her stress of finding the time off of work for testing and the worry of her child being sick after a COVID exposure.

Take a walk with your Trick or Treaters down the forest trail to meet and gather goodies from friendly animal characters @ Oatland Island Wildlife Center’s annual Halloween Hike. Mother Earth will be there to show you the way. Along the trails, various character and candy stops await. There will be crafts, face painting, a fossil hunt and many more monstrous activities that await your arrival.
Admission is $5 for adults and $10 for children. ADMISSION IS VIA ONLINE RESERVATION ONLY. No one will be admitted without a reservation.
