Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children’s Museum will transform into a magical world of discovery during Coastal Heritage Society’s signature fall family fundraiser, Frogwarts: A Magical Adventure!

Families can enjoy a day filled with STEAM activities, train rides, spellbinding fun, and plenty of hands-on adventures.

Explore magical classes inspired by wizard-school themed

Save the date for Frogwarts 2026: Sunday, October 25th, 11AM-3PM.

Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children’s Museum will transform into a magical wizarding-themed adventure during Coastal Heritage Society’s signature event “Frogwarts: A Magical Adventure!”

This popular annual fall family fundraiser features STEAM activities, train rides, and spellbinding fun.

Families are immersed in STEAM activities such as chemistry, engineering, biology, and art, all disguised as magical classes inspired by the beloved book series. Lowcountry Turners will be making custom lathe-turning wands that will be available for purchase while supplies last.

Highlights include: train rides; wand-making; potions; quill writing; reptiles; owls; “Kuidditch”; STEAM activities; and more.

Other activities will be led by Coastal Heritage Society community partners including Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry, Callaway Critters, Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education, Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital, Coastal Rail Buffs, Garrison Voices, and Savannah Tree Foundation.

Latin Chicks, Pie Society and more food trucks will be on site with food available for purchase.
