Telfair Museums in Savannah has two fun & educational programs for young children – babies, toddlers & preschoolers – to visit the museum, learn and make art together.

Stroller Tours Stroller Tours 3rd Thursday of Every Month
9:30-10:15am
Telfair Museums program for the stroller set! Join Telfair Museums for a monthly gathering where parents & caregivers can enjoy a morning at the museum while also engaging infants with art. Babies thrive on dynamic environments, so each month we’ll explore a different set of artwork. There will be touchable toys for the little ones, adult conversation for you & like-minded art lovers. Finish your visit with a leisurely talk over complimentary coffee & tea in Telfair Museum’s café. Strollers, crying & older siblings are all welcome here.

Telfair Tots 3rd Thursday of Every Month

Start your day with art! Once a month preschoolers aged 2 ½ – 5 and their adult companions are invited to the museum for story time, a special tour, and an art activity. Younger siblings are welcome to tag along. Come play and learn.

Activity fee is $5 per participating child; regular museum admission for caregivers. Adult members are always free.

Help celebrate the creative spirit and the accomplishments of Savannah artists young and old at Telfair’s annual I Have Marks to Make exhibition. Exploring the empowerment of people through art, the exhibition features works by individuals with disabilities and work by others making art in rehabilitation from injury or illness. Make your own mark in drawing and painting activities led by talented local artists participating in the exhibition, and take part in a moving program of poetry readings and performances at 2 pm, followed by a reception.

This ancient Japanese ceramic firing technique in which 1800° glowing red hot works are removed from the kiln and placed into a reduction chamber filled with combustibles is sure to inflame and inspire. JEA Mazel Tots music, movement and play class offers upbeat and fun experiences for babies and toddlers 0 through 36 months on Sunday mornings in Savannah.

Open to the public.

This is an opportunity for babies and parents to interact through hands on music and movement activities, finger plays, and stories. Parents will also have a chance to meet other families with common interests and engage in lively informal discussions.

Classes will be led by JEA Preschool Savannah toddler teacher Tara Swank.

Come join Savannah FIT4MOM Stroller Strides  inside at the Savannah Mall or outside at Daffin & Hull parks to get your workout in with your baby or toddler and make friends with some awesome mamas.

Stroller Strides® is a stroller-based fitness program designed for moms with little ones. Each 60-minute, total body workout incorporates running or power walking, strength, toning, songs and activities. Their certified fitness instructors are specially trained in pre and post-natal fitness and offer a variety of fun class formats both indoors and outdoors.

All locations also offer a free playgroup with Our Village so moms can form lasting friendships with other moms through organized play dates, Moms’ Nights Out, and activities for the whole family.

FIT4MOM® Savannah is proud to offer classes accordance to ACOG guidelines. They are a great way to get back in shape with your baby or toddler and to meet other new moms.
