What is Executive Functioning?
Executive Functioning is a term used to describe a person’s ability to control their thoughts and actions to accomplish a goal. The executive functions that underlie school success—organization, time management, long-term planning, study and test-taking strategies—are areas that are often not taught in school, but are crucial to academic success.
Academic coaches at Savannah Educational Consultants help students create strategies that make sense for the way they think and learn.
