The STEAM Center debuts with Numbers in Nature, an engaging exhibition that reveals the mathematical patterns woven throughout our everyday world. At the heart of the exhibition is an 1,800-square-foot Mirror Maze, a world of repeating triangles, reflections, and visual illusions. The STEAM Center is located inside the 1925 historic Storehouse on the campus of the Central of Georgia Railway, positioned between Savannah Children’s Museum and Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah. Admission to the STEAM Center is included with tickets to either museum.

Additional literacy adventures include a shared reading of If Bees Disappeared,paired with a pollinator discovery, and a hands-on camouflage challenge where participants investigate how animals blend into their habitats.

On January 28, 1942, just after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Eighth Air Force began with 7 men and no airplanes in Savannah, GA.
