Beginning in March 24 2015,  All Children’s Rehab & Specialty Clinic in Savannah will offer FREE language enrichment programs for children ages 3-5, 12:30-1:30PM Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Sessions begin March 2 and run through March 28 2015. Three, four and six week classes are available, as well as weekend workshops.

Spring Break Kids Cooking Camp
April 6-8, Ampersand (36 MLK Blvd., Savannah)
The Tummy Time Foods “Kids Can Cook” Camp is a 3-day camp that teaches kids ages 8-11 how to select and prepare healthier food options from scratch! Kids will learn basic cooking skills, knife skills, kitchen safety and more! Each day will focus on a different lesson and menu, and kids will dine on their own culinary creations! Monday, April 6
9:00am-12:00pm: Nutrition 101 & “Sugar Shock”: Sugar Alternatives
Kids will leave understanding the basics of nutrition and how to pick the best foods for our bodies. They will then learn how to replace refined sugars with healthier options and prepare healthy remakes.

Tuesday, April 7
9:00am-12:00pm: “Thinking Outside the Cereal Bowl” and “Snack Attack”
Kids will learn how to make some healthy and creative breakfast options from scratch! We will also explore how to make the perfect snacks for their growing bodies.

Wednesday, April 8
9:00am-12:00pm: Reception Preparation/Final Presentation Preparation
12:00-1:00pm: TTF Closing Reception (Parents invited to attend!)
We will have a closing reception to celebrate the graduation of our “TTF Chefs-in-Training”! Kids will spend the morning preparing the appetizers for parents and guests. Parents are invited to attend our reception and support the kids while they present their final presentations.

With each theme, we take the kids on a new culinary adventure, different flavors, cuisines and seasonal produce. We incorporate nutrition and emphasize healthy eating in every class! Parents/caregivers are welcome to drop-off or stay and watch.
