Each season, Soccer Shots uses a different curriculum covering new skills and character words while having fun! They’re kicking off the Spring Season the week of March 18 and want your child to join in on Soccer Island!
Each student Advanced Academics Academy preschool in Pooler will spend most of their learning day with children near their age as they learn student skills and fun subjects from the thematic curriculum such as Simple Machines!
However, they can group with other children that are on the same instructional level for their small group core curriculum including reading, writing, and math if they are ready to move beyond their grade level’s standards. This specialized learning strategy accommodates asynchronous learning so they may experience instruction without frustration or boredom.
Unlike traditional early childhood education programs, students @ Advanced Academics Academy receive curriculum individualized to each student’s learning levels. Classes are taught by experienced, degreed and certified teachers. They do experience the commercial version of holidays like passing out cards, but do not teach religious origins. All questions are deferred to parents.
Like public schools, Advanced Academics Academy preschool serves children Monday through Friday and for a full-term academic year. They blend the Georgia Standards of Excellence with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards to provide a robust learning experience. The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System has 65 Georgia Lottery Funded (aka FREE!) Pre-K classes serving more than 1,400 students. The application window for SCCPSS Pre-K programs is Jan. 27, 2024 until Feb. 9, 2024. Students must be four years old on or before Sept. 1, 2024. This is a free Pre-K program.
The Little Acorn Academy is a full-day program for 3-year-olds. The Little Acorn Academy is a program where students will learn their ABCs, colors, and how to spell, giving students an advantage when they enroll in a pre-k program. Toddler Tuesday is a program for 1-4 year old children and their caregivers that focuses on one of Oatland Island Wildlife Center’s animals, or a relevant nature theme. The program will meet at the picnic pavilion and will include singing, finger play, a story, and a possible encounter with one of Oatland’s furry, feathered or scaly residents.
Occasionally the program ventures to an exhibit, so dress appropriately and bring your stroller and walking shoes. Toddler Tuesday is weather dependent and in case of extreme weather and a cancellation is required, attendees will be emailed at the address you registered with which you registered.

Sessions are offered twice on Tuesdays from 10-10:30AM & 11-11:30AM and registration is not required, but it helps organizers speed up check in and if there is a cancellation you will be the first to know.
