Wag-O-Ween Weekend 2021 is a pet-friendly community event that takes place in downtown Savannah and attracts 1000+ yearly participants.

Money raised supports local animal rescues in their mission to place pets in ‘furever’ homes, subsidize no-barrier community spay and neuter, and support community education programs.

This year’s event will take place over two days – Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 23-24 2021, from noon-5PM – to allow for a less-crowded trick or treat route and social distancing at treat stops.

There is still time to register for this special Halloween event, Tricks, Treats, & Trains, a socially distanced trick-or-treating experience at Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah this Sat. October 31, 2020, 10AM-12 PM.

Georgia State Railroad Museum is a large, open-air historic site with plenty of space for safe social distancing. Costumed staff and volunteers handing out treats will be positioned throughout the outdoor museum for participants to trick-or-treat. Halloween-themed activities will also be offered throughout the day at Savannah Children’s Museum from 9:30AM-2:30PM.

Tickets for Tricks, Treats, & Trains are $5 per person 18-months-old and up. A discounted combination ticket including admission to Savannah Children’s Museum and Tricks, Treats, & Trains are $10 per person.

Pooler Police Department TRICK-OR-TREAT

Bring your kids by the Pooler Police Department this Monday-Friday Oct. 26-Oct. 30 between 9AM-5PM to receive a Halloween goodie bag from Pooler police.

Safely trick-or-treat with the Savannah Police Department this Thurs. Oct. 29  5:30-7:30PM (or until the candy runs out) @ Daffin Park.

Cars will stop at decorated stations throughout the park to receive Halloween goodies.

Participants MUST BE in a vehicle, and cars will enter the park from Bee Road.

Walk-up trick-or-treating will not be allowed.

This market will features are regular food and craft vendors along with these additions.

Free Drive-Through Trunk or Treat @ YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Habersham branch, Savannah

Join the Habersham YMCA annual Trunk or Treat in Savannah, 5-7PM Thurs. Oct. 22, but this year the event will be a drive-through in Habersham’s branch Trunk or Treat Alley.

Receive free treat bags, school supplies courtesy community partner WellCare, free family food boxes from partner Second Harvest, goodies from City of Savannah Fire and EMS as well as other donated items. At the end stop, hop out and take a family photo at the fall themed photo booth.

Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume and take part in the photo contest.

“Where’s Noble Bones?” Halloween-themed scavenger hunt @ Wormsloe State Historic Site

Help find one of Savannah’s founders — Noble Jones — who has lost all of his Noble Bones. Every Saturday in October 2020, Wormsloe State Historic Site in Savannah will host a spooky scavenger hunt. It gives families a perfect way to get outdoors and enjoy nature and history while scaring up Halloween fun.

Guests will make their way to the museum where they will find QR codes giving the first clue to begin their journey. The first clue will lead you to the first “Bones” family member hidden on the main trail. Near this skeleton will be the next QR code with the next clue. After locating the fourth Bone’s family member, it will lead you to your final destination.

The scavenger hunt is free with admission, which ranges from $4.50 children to $10 adults. Every Saturday will offer a different experience with unique locations and clues for locating the skeletons.
