Savannah Children’s Choir is one of the few organizations in greater Savannah where kids from different schools, different faiths, and different backgrounds can get to know one another and work together.
Every Monday after school, children ranging in age from 4-18 gather to rehearse, read music, work on their vocal intonation, and develop important life skills. In addition to two weekend retreats each semester, the singers ramp up their rehearsal schedule for special concerts and performances, devoting countless hours to the pursuit of perfection.
Visit the Georgia Historical Society (GHS) Research Center at 501 Whitaker St. across from Forsyth Park on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, 9am-5pm to view unique objects and documents highlighting Georgia’s role in the development and evolution of our national story.
A variety of unique artifacts will be on display relating to Colonial Georgia, the U.S. Constitution, and American history during the event.
Visitors will be able to view Abraham Baldwin’s original draft copy of the U.S. Constitution, one of only a fourteen still in existence.
