The Festival in the Park will be at the Pooler Park off Rogers Street (900 S. Rogers Street, Pooler, Ga.) on Saturday, September 12, 2015.

Coastal Kids Market is in the midst of planning their biggest and best Savannah market ever. Consignor registration is now open for the Fall 2015 Sale, Aug 27-29th 2015 at The Shoppes of Savannah (formerly Savannah Festival Outlet) at 11 Gateway Blvd, Savannah.

Start cleaning out those closets & cash in on our kids’ gently used items. Visit www.coastalkidsmarket.com and click on the registration tab for clear instructions on how to become a consignor.

If you are new to consigning, just click on the consignor tab to get full details on how this market works. Before you are through, make sure to check out the benefits of volunteering (be the first ones in the door) and select a check-in time to drop off your own stash. Volunteer registration spots will be opening soon, too.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

VOLUNTEER SPOTS are available as of 6PM July 31. Grab your spots now because they fill up quickly. Just go www.coastalkidsmarket.com and click on the registration tab, returning users link (or new user link if you are a new consignor and haven’t registered yet), and then the volunteer tab. The more you volunteer the higher % you make on your consigned items. Don’t forget about being able to shop EARLY.

CKM will also WAIVE your registration fee for referring a new consignor.

If you are just too busy to consign, consider Mom’s Busy Tagging Service. It’s really simple, you bring CKM your items and they tag them for you. For details, just send CKM a message.

Make and Take Tuesdays Kids’ Cooking Classes

Tuesdays at 4-5pm
Frank Murray Community Center, Whitemarsh Is.

It’s not your average After-School Class.
Bring your kids to make a home-cooked meal to take home and enjoy with the family. It’s a fun, hands-on activity where the kids learn basic cooking skills, family nutrition tips and it all ends with a delicious take-home dinner prepared in-class — all without the planning, shopping, prep or mess at home.

Each meal will feed up to 5-6 people and is prepared in disposable take-home bake and serve containers. You also receive a copy of the recipe with (re)heating instructions.

This class is open to children of all ages. Parents are welcomed to accompany their child in the class, or you can drop them off.

Cost is $45 per family and includes hands-on cooking lesson, family nutrition tips and a delicious take-home meal prepared in-class in take-home bake and serve containers, complete with a copy of the recipe with (re)heating instructions.
