Easter Bunny visit, petting zoo and more
Take memorable photos with the Easter Bunny and delight in the excitement of a lively petting zoo with a miniature highland cow, miniature horse, alpaca, bunnies, chicks, ducklings and more. Get creative at the craft station and take home your creations.
Join the Easter Bunny on the egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt.
Campers will enjoy daily horseback riding lessons focusing on basic horse care and horsemanship, creative arts and crafts, fun recreational games, and a relaxing picnic on the farm each day.
The week wraps up with a thrilling horse show, followed by a pizza and pool party every Friday—making it the highlight of the summer! Our camps provide a perfect mix of education, fun, and outdoor adventure in a safe and welcoming environment.

Similar to the Days at the J program, E-Learning Days at the J are offered when schools are out for distance learning.
Campers will bring school work to focus on during the first half of the day, and will participate in camp-themed activities for the second half of the day. Campers must bring all materials needed to complete their assignments.

This weeklong program, led by our SCDS teachers, helps students brush up on their skills and get back into a routine so they can walk into their new grade feeling totally prepared. ● Speech & Debate (8th-12th grades): June 22-26-This is such a great way for students to find their voice. Through fun games and group discussions, campers learn how to speak clearly and think on their feet—building confidence they’ll use long after summer ends.
Camp Moon River ( June 1- July 24) Seven Weeks
The Lowcountry’s premier full-day summer camp for rising K–8 students! We offer the best of both worlds, all the excitement of a traditional camp with the comfort and convenience of a day program. With morning and afternoon extended care available, families enjoy a smooth, stress-free summer routine while campers jump into days filled with creativity and discovery. Ecology Camp ( June 1-June 18) Three weeks
Designed for rising Kindergarteners through seventh graders, Ecology Camp blends exploration, discovery, and environmental education into a dynamic, engaging experience. Each day, campers will travel by bus to investigate a variety of natural habitats, including marshlands, freshwater ecosystems, and coastal environments. Campers will participate in interactive field studies and guided exploration—all gear and materials are provided.

This annual event is our way of celebrating the art of ceramics. Whether you are a seasoned ceramicist or just looking for a fun event to attend, we invite you to stop by and spend the afternoon with us! Coastal Heritage Society has opened its first indoor space, the new STEAM Center at Savannah Children’s Museum, giving families a year-round place to explore hands-on learning.
The STEAM center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included with regular museum admission.
The debut exhibition, Numbers in Nature, highlights the mathematical patterns found throughout the natural world. Through interactive STEAM activities, visitors can explore how numbers, shapes, and symmetry appear in everyday environments.
At the center of the exhibit is a 1,800-square-foot Mirror Maze filled with repeating triangles, reflections, and visual illusions that challenge visitors to find their way through while discovering how patterns and geometry work together.
Located inside the historic 1925 Storehouse on the museum campus, the new STEAM Center expands Savannah Children’s Museum’s mission to spark curiosity, creativity, and exploration for young learners.
