JEA Savannah is a full-service community center similar to a YMCA, offering programs such as a preschool, summer camp, fitness center, and indoor and outdoor pools. While rooted in Jewish culture, the JEA is open and welcoming to the entire community.
You’re invited to the free Coastal Empire Home & Garden Expo, hosted by The Daniels Team affiliated with Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners, LLC and featuring local vendors, homeowners, and businesses all in one place.
This expo is designed to connect homeowners with top professionals in home improvement, home services, gardening, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local experts, explore services, ask questions, and gather valuable information for current or future home projects.

Students participate in separate tracks (per age group) of three classes lasting one hour each. The event kicks off with an Expo to learn about schools, universities, and Engineering companies in the Coastal Empire.
Then as the students break off for classes, the adults are invited to stay and learn how to keep the students interested in STEM and how to prepare them for school. See the full agenda here. This event is promoted for females to attend but is open to all students!

The 14th Annual Fit Kids Fest: Healthy Hearts are Happy Hearts is a free community event.
(Please note: Savannah Children’s Museum Exploration Station – the outdoor museum – will be open 1-4PM. Not regular operational hours. The new indoor STEAM Center will be open 9AM-3PM)
A free community event, Junior League of Savannah’s Fit Kids Fest focuses on the importance of a healthy body and mind by introducing kids and their parents to fun activities designed for children of all ages.
The goal of Fit Kids Fest Fit Kids Fest is to foster overall wellness among K-12 students and introduce families to healthy lifestyle resources in the community.
Activities include free face painting, a Teddy Bear Clinic, free full access to Savannah Children’s Museum.
The museum has an exploratory maze, nature’s kitchen, art maker space, puppet theater, slides, a sensory garden, a healthy scavenger hunt and more.
Bring in your favorite Teddy Bear (or stuffed animal) to Fit Kids Fest for a check-up! Special thanks to our community partner, Mercer University School of Medicine. Volunteers with Mercer University School of Medicine will check Teddy’s symptoms, boo-boos, and help kids learn what doctors and nurses do to keep us healthy and strong.

Explore history, arts, and culture in communities throughout Georgia as over 100 museums and historic sites across the state open their doors free of charge for this popular annual event, organized as part of the Georgia History Festival. The Parade begins at 5:30pm at Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street, goes down to the east end, then winds its way downtown for the entire community to enjoy.
Kids of all ages can enjoy a fun craft and screening of the movie The Muppet Christmas Carol on December 23 at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center!
At 10:15am, make a Muppet-themed craft in our Studio Theater. Then at 11am, make your way into Ben Tucker Theater for the movie.
About the film: The Muppets’ version of the Dickens holiday classic about a miser who’s visited by three ghosts features Kermit the Frog as the penny-pincher’s hardworking and loyal employee.
This event is free and open to the public, all ages welcome. No advance tickets required. Film rating: G, Runtime: 85 minutes
