St. Francis of Assisi proclaimed God’s love for all creation, and even preached to the animals around him. In that spirit, we celebrate the joy that comes from our relationship with God’s creatures,
Bring your pets to St. Patrick’s Church any time between Noon and 3PM on Saturday October 3 to receive a blessing. Organizers ask that pets be restrained by leash or in cages, as even normally calm animals can react unexpectedly to unfamiliar surroundings.
If you can, please help support other pets by bringing some of the items the Humane Society has requested to help the animals in their care.
Humane Society Wish List
Dogs
• Slip leashes
• Durable/washable toys- no tennis balls please
• Dry adult food (Purina brand)
• Dry puppy food (Purina brand)
• Blankets – used are fine if clean
• Dog electric shavers (clippers)
• Rubber KONGS – This gives our pets an enriching activity in their kennel, vital to their happiness.
Cleaning Supplies

• Laundry detergent (HE liquid)
Cats

• PLUSH COMFY BEDS. Sizes needed: No bigger than half a pillow please.

Small Animals (rabbits, hamsters, gerbils…)
