Coastal Pediatrics in Savannah, Pooler

Great pediatric care goes beyond the appointment itself.

The goal at Coastal Pediatrics, which has locations in Savannah and Pooler, is to make every child feel comfortable and every parent feel supported.

Check out this parent review of Coastal Pediatrics.

”If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Both Mallory & Dr. Behm have cared for our children since birth (4 years and counting), and I can honestly say we’ve never had a single bad experience.

They treat my children like little humans, not just patients, and the love and compassion they show shines through every visit.

The nurses are absolute angels (the kind who somehow get my kids to laugh even when there are shots involved), and the front desk staff is always welcoming supportive, and efficient. This office is truly one of a kind.

We feel so lucky to have such an incredible team keeping our little ones healthy (and making us parents feel supported along the way). Highly recommend to anyone looking for pediatric care that goes above and beyond.”

Savannah schools: St Andrew’s School receives girls flag football grant

April 14th, 2026

St. Andrew’s School on Wilmington Island in Savannah is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $5,000 girls flag football grant from The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.

In partnership with the Atlanta Falcons, the foundation provides funding to help schools launch new girls flag football programs or strengthen existing ones.

Since 2022, St. Andrew’s has fielded a girls flag football team, and the program continues to grow in both skill and participation. The grant funds will be used to purchase new equipment to enhance training, support player development, and further elevate the team’s performance.

The team is led by St. Andrew’s faculty members David Nash and Kristin Peney, who have developed a
five-year plan focused on building the program into one of the most competitive in the region.

“This group of girls playing flag football is incredible,” said Coach Nash. “Their empathy, positive
attitude, and leadership have transformed the team from one of the youngest and most inexperienced in the league into a highly competitive program.”

Girls flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States and will be included in the 2028 Summer Olympics.
“We are proud to support opportunities that empower our students to grow as athletes and leaders,” said Dr. Kelley Waldron, Head of School. “This grant strengthens our athletics program and reinforces our commitment to providing meaningful, confidence-building experiences for our students.”

St. Andrew’s is an International Baccalaureate World School inspiring young people age 3 through grade 12 in Savannah, Georgia.
