Kindermusik with 88 Keys offers classes for ages 0-7 every week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Morning, afternoon, and evening classes available!
There are also monthly musical playdates on a Saturday morning. The next ones will be May 20 2023 at 10 and 11AM.
Toddlers and their adults will experience themed activities including music, storytelling, arts & crafts, and a visit with Tippy the Tortoise.
All visitors will experience the joy of nature through open exploration of our outdoor museum as well as open play with socialization. The theme will be DINOSAURS! The museum will also welcome special guest Kimberly Gunn from The Love Again Initiative.
The program is included in cost of admission to SCM, $10 per person ages 18 months and up.
Spring youth classes begin this week at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center! There’s still time to register for art exploration – from our youngest artists in parent/child classes to adventures in visual arts!
All classes are 6 week sessions and build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and artistic skills. Youth classes cover ages 0-12 years.

Jepson Center’s next FREE Family Day for locals and activities celebrating the Bold Expressions exhibition is set for Sat. April 29 2023 @ Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center in Savannah.
Inspired by prints in the exhibition and turned wooden bowls by Ed and Phillip Moulthrop, afternoon activities from 1-4PM will include a scavenger hunt, screen-printed t-shirts, and wood turning demonstrations by the Low Country Turners who will make wooden tops for participants.
The Low Country Turners are the Savannah / Hilton Head area chapter of the American Association of Woodturners, and their mission is to provide education, information and a meeting place to those interested in the art and craft of woodworking and woodturning.

Start your day with art with this combined program: Jepson Center’s Art Start Stroller & Toddler Tour. Once a month, Telfair Museums’ youngest patrons are invited to the Jepson Center for story time, a special tour, and an art activity. Savannah Cultural Arts Center will stream the sing-along Encanto for free at noon on Sat. April 29 2023 with arts activities before the movie.
“How Far Can I Rise? Through The Roof, To The Skies, Let’s Go!” Step into the theater at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center and get swept up in the magic during an interactive sing-along screening of Disney’s Encanto!
All ages welcome, costumes/dress up encouraged. Free & open to the public.

Savannah Children’s Museum invites the public to attend Bug Fest, the annual family-friendly celebration buzzing with bug-themed crafts, activities, and workshops.
The event will be Sat. April 22, 10AM-1PM @ Savannah Children’s Museum, 655 Louisville Rd. Savannah, GA 31401.
Savannah Children’s Museum educators will also be delivering exciting programs, such as the eat-a-bug club, insect activities, and many other creepy crawly programming throughout the day.

Spring Break Sailors @ Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, Savannah
Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum in Savannah will offer free admission April 7-16 2023 to two children when accompanied by one paying adult. Prices for adults range from $8 (for military, seniors, and AAA holders) and $10 (general adult admission).
An afternoon of clay exploration on the lawn of the Savannah Cultural Arts Center this Mon. April 3 2023! Artists and instructors from the SCAC and the Savannah community will have stations introducing you to projects and techniques in clay including handbuilding, surface design techniques, wheel, clay recycling, and Raku firing.
This FREE event is for all ages and all levels of clay experience to create, learn, and be inspired. This is an interactive event so be prepared to get your hands a little messy! Select projects can be left at the SCAC to be kiln fired and picked up at a later date.
Parents/guardians must accompany children ages 14 and younger at all times. Stop by any time between 1 and 4PM, no pre-registration required.
Participating artists include: Cameron Frost, Antonia Gorham, Rebecca Ball, Carol Miller, Dave Peterson, and more!

On April 1 @ 3PM, Savannah Children’s Theatre is excited to offer their first low-sensory performance.
This matinee of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus is designed especially to create a comfortable environment for children with autism, sensory processing differences, or for families who are nervous about how their child(ren) might respond to live theatre. Keep reading for more information!
WHAT TO EXPECT: Low lights will remain on throughout the performance; reduced volume & sound effects; noise-cancelling headphones available to borrow; flexible seating options including pillows & wiggle seats; designated quiet area with soft beanbag seating; limited audience size; playbills including information about which parts of the play contain more intense feelings or movements so caregivers & children can prepare; opportunity to meet & interact with characters after the performance.
NOTE: All modifications being made were recommended by licensed & working BCaBA therapists. SCT performers & volunteers are not trained special educators, but are proud to be working with educators & families to make SCT a welcoming & inclusive space.

Plant Riverside District will offer free live music by more than 30 bands on two riverfront stages, family-friendly activities and photos with Lucky the Leprechaun as well as festive food and drink options for all ages and St. Patrick’s Day-themed merchandise.
