Wormsloe’s Colonial Haunted Trail Tour @ Wormsloe State Historic Site, Savannah

A ranger will guide you into the past to site of colonist Nobel Jones. Keep close together as you explore the trail and hopefully you will be safe from the zombies, ghosts and ghouls drifting under the looming oak tree and Spanish moss. Who knows what ghouls have been disturbed!

Tours will depart from the Visitors Center every 15 minutes beginning at 7:15PM. Wormsloe’s gate will open at 6:30PM. Last tour tickets will be sold at 9PM. Tours will continue until 10:00 pm as needed. Tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. The gate will close when all tours are sold out.

Not recommended for children under the age of 6.

March through history and learn about the American Revolution in Savannah! Experience a black powder demonstration, immerse yourself in 1779 Savannah, and hear about the personalities that shaped the city’s fight for freedom. Learn more here.

INTERACTIVE CENTURY OF SENTRIES: Building Fort Jackson program for adults, kids and families @ Old Fort Jackson. Guests can also learn various drills and forms of military communication used and watch a cannon demonstration using some of the oldest artillery in the Southeast. Moon-gazing with high powered telescope @ Fort Morris State Historic Site, Midway

Friday, March 9th, 2018

Stay out a little later and view an astronomical event, the fourth full moon in three months.

On Saturday night, March 31, site staff @ Fort Morris State Historic Site in Midway near Savannah will be available after hours for gazing up at the full moon as it rises over the Medway River.

Interesting facts about the moon will also be shared. A high powered telescope will be available to check out the moon’s seas and craters. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy this astronomical evening. Weather permitting and dress accordingly.

Join us for our annual candlelight guided tours! Come see soldiers go about their evening duties and experience what life was like for those living on the Georgia coast during the Civil War. Skidaway Is. State Park in Savannah now has an outdoor gym – for all – complete with elliptical, rowing machine & weight lifting equipment.

The new innovative outdoor gym & the six miles of trails make this Georgia state park the ideal spot to workout this fall.

Pokémon Go! Hikes @ Wormsloe State Historic Site, Savannah

Wormsloe Pokemon Go Hikes Savannah Pokémon Go! Hikes are coming to Wormsloe Historic Site, Savannah in Savannah.

Starting Aug. 20 2016, Wormsloe State Historic Site will hold their first Pokémon Go! Hike.

At 2PM and 5PM, come out and ask for the Pokemon Safari tour.

Wormsloe is home to a large variety of Pokémon and with four gyms and nine Pokéstops. It’s the perfect place for a night adventure. They will also be holding a gym competition after the hike with badges up for grabs.

These Pokémon Go! Hikes will continue to be held twice a month @ Wormsloe at the following dates & times:

See Civil War soldiers go about their evening duties. Stop in the barracks for hot cider and cookies, then prepare yourself for a blast with a cannon firing over the Ogeechee River. Tours will be held every half hour, with the last at 9:30PM.
