Savannah Children’s Museum School Hours will begin on Wed. Sept. 6 2023. SCM will be open Wednesday – Sunday from 9AM -3PM, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for field trips.
Please note that SCM will have Special Open days for Labor Day weekend: open on Sun. Sept. 3 and Mon. Sept. 4 2023 and closed on Tues. Sept. 5 2023.

Par-Tee for Women golf class in Savannah is for a beginner to intermediate woman golfer, who is looking to learn to play golf and not be taught by her husband / boyfriend.
The class is Wed. Sept. 13 thru October 18 2023 @ Savannah Indoor Golf Club. Each class is on Wednesdays from 6 – 7:30PM. In addition to the 6 classes, the students will have a seventh class on Wed. Oct. 25 at 5 – 6:30PM at Mary Calder Golf Course where you will go on the golf course and play a few holes with golf carts.

Join us at the Jepson Center to develop your young person’s skills as a photographer. We believe that all young people are artists. With that in mind, we will approach photography as professionals do, studying the elements of art. The camp will meet outside as much as possible as we explore our environment in Telfair Square and other nearby locations. We will use DSLR digital cameras and learn about exposure, and a few historical methods involving film. Photography is fun and accessible to everyone.
Starting on Sept. 3, Savannah Children’s Museum will be open Wednesday-Sunday 9AM-3PM. Currently the all-outdoor museum is open summer hours 9AM-2PM Monday-Saturday.

Discover music with the violin! Violin Explorations introduces children to the smallest member of the string family: The Violin.
Learn through games, songs, practice and repetition of one skill at a time. This class will cover: parts of the violin, how to hold the violin and bow, how to use the bow and pluck strings, basic rhythms and melodies, basic music reading including staff and notes.
Two classes are offered, one for ages 4-6 years and one for ages 7-10.

The Golf Swing Studio in Savannah runs a year-round junior golf program known as A.S.W.I.NG. for junior golfers of all skill levels between the ages of 6-12.
This great initiative not only gets your junior active and moving but also ignites their passion for golf from an early age.
Start your child on a lifelong journey with the game. And part of the coaching will be developing the young players’ ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed – first. Get ready for a day of family fun, as Telfair offers an all-ages event celebrating The Age of Armor.
Visitors can see armor and mock battle demonstrations throughout the afternoon presented by the Shire of Forth Castle (Savannah area chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism) and members of Schola St. George (a group focused on the knightly culture and chivalric arts of the later Middle Ages) from Atlanta and the Southeast. SCA members will demonstrate period crafts, and children will make art projects inspired by the exhibition.

Under the Lights is the exclusive youth flag football partner of Under Armour, Inc.
The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels from Kindergarten to 4th Grade.
This youth flag football league is offered to Calvary students as well as non Calvary students. Participants do not need to attend Calvary to participate.
Under the Lights is for players of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non contact football experience.
