Starting on Sept. 3, Savannah Children’s Museum will be open Wednesday-Sunday 9AM-3PM. Currently the all-outdoor museum is open summer hours 9AM-2PM Monday-Saturday.

2023 School Year Hours & Special Labor Day Weekend Hours:

Sun. Sept. 3 – special open 9AM-2PM in celebration of the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Mon. Sept. 4- special open 9AM-2PM.

Tues. Sept. 5-CLOSED

Wed. Sept. 6 -SCHOOL YEAR HOURS BEGIN 9AM-3PM. SCM will be open Wednesday-Sunday 9-3.

Save the date for Frogwarts 2023 on Sun. Oct. 15. Georgia State Railroad Museum transforms into a magical Harry Potter-themed experience during the annual “Frogwarts” events. Children and their grownups are immersed in STEAM activities, such as chemistry, engineering, biology, and art, all disguised as magical classes inspired by the beloved book series. Details TBA.
