Attention Beaufort County students and families:

To support those families with children in grades K-4th, the Sandbox Children’s Museum new museum program is designed with you in mind.

In small multi-age pods with strict health and safety guidelines, students will not only have support for virtual lessons, but also access to staff-led hand-on enrichment activities in S.T.E.M. literacy, art, and movement, and free play in the museum. Children will also have free play in the museum during the day.

The new program for children in grades K-4th is at both the Hilton Head and Bluffton Sandbox locations.

Telfair Museums 2020 Fall & Winter Class offerings

Telfair Museums in Savannah has a brand new schedule of in person and virtual classes for Fall and Winter 2020, completely redesigned to insure social distancing and health and safety protocols, while providing engaging, fun, educational experiences for everyone.

Telfair Museums’ new in person classes will be limited to 8-10 participants and meet mostly outdoors, weather permitting. All supplies will be provided, with two exceptions, Savannah plein air sketching group is bring your own supplies and the virtual video class requires a computer and internet access.

All fall and winter, youth and adult classes, are live on the website, with full descriptions.

Enrollment for Fall Soccer Shots is now open for children ages 2-8 and children with special needs ages 3+.

Soccer Shots in Savannah is kicking off the season and wants your child to join them on Soccer Island!

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Their weekly sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.

Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Soccer Shots curriculum is aligned with early learning state standards and they highlight a positive character trait each week such as respect, confidence and determination.
