Splash & Sprint: Safe Kids Savannah run & swim race, Sept. 16

Splash and Sprint kids race in Savannah

Safe Kids Savannah will hold Splash and Sprint, a timed swimming and running event presented by Dr. Mark Kamaleson of Optim Orthopedics, Sat. Sept. 16, at the Chatham County Aquatic Center & Lake Mayer in Savannah.

Participants can register online here.

The event is for youth ages 6 to 15 and the top male and female finishers will receive a medal. All participants will receive a ribbon.

The swim & run event is unique to coastal Georgia. The event helps promote water & sports safety & is also a fundraiser for Safe Kids Savannah. Funds raised through Splash & Sprint help to purchase items such as bicycle helmets, child safety seats & life jackets that can be distributed throughout local communities.

Packet pick-up will take place on Fri. Sept. 15, 4-7PM @ the Chatham County Aquatic Center, 7240 Sallie Mood Drive.
