Savannah History Museum will feature the popular Loyalists & Liberty Tours from 10am to 2pm.

Harper Fowlkes House and PinPoint Heritage Museum will host daily interpretation and guided tours.

College Counselor and past admissions professional at the college level, to explore these trends and questions.

Waldron and Mr. Ryan Martin in exploring some predictions for the future of K-12 education. Dr. Waldron has presented
on this topic at national and regional conferences, and currently serves on the SAIS Board of Trustees. Mr. Martin is a
career, independent school leader who has guided change initiatives in several independent school communities.

That beloved annual Savannah springtime tradition – the 4-H Chick Hatchery – will be a live stream this year due to the pandemic. Watch March 31-April 2 2021 on Chatham County 4-H YouTube site. 

Kids of all ages can watch the chicks emerge from their eggs . For more than two decades, Chatham County Cooperative Extension 4-H has run the hands-on display hatchery during the Easter season, allowing kids to hold newly hatched chicks. But for the past two seasons, it has been online instead.

Due to COVID, this year will be a different twist on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt.
A 2-month long Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt instead of a 1-day event.
Easter Egg Hunts will be from March 3-April 30 2021 on Wednesdays-Sunday from 10AM-4PM.
Guests will arrive and pay admission (Ages 18-61 $8; 62+ $7; 6-17 $5; younger than 6 are FREE).
Guests will be given a Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt map & instructions.

Spring Celebration & Shearing 2021 @ Oatland Island Wildlife Center, Savannah, March 20 2021

From the animal’s body to the finished wool product. Observe and participate in the magical creation of a woolen shawl through all the stages of wool processing. Members of The Fiber Guild of the Savannah’s join Oatland staff and volunteers in making this traditional spring celebration fun for the whole family. ​

The Oatland angora goats will be sheared throughout the day with demonstrations of carding, spinning, dying and weaving the wool.

Crafts, games, and other children’s activities as well as a ​food truck will be available.

Spring Celebration and Shearing next event will be on March 20 2021 from 10AM – 2PM @ Oatland Island Wildlife Center.

Toddler Tuesday is a program for 1-4 year old children and their caregivers that focuses on one of Oatland’s animals, or a relevant nature theme. The program will meet at the picnic pavilion and will include: singing, fingerplay, a story, an encounter with one of our animals, and a take-home craft.

UPDATE: Cost for the program is $5 for children and $5 for adults.

Registration is required and there are a limited number of spaces so reserve early.

PARADE ROUTE
The Parade will assemble from Turners Creek, through Thunderbolt, around Elba Island and proceed to the Savannah Convention Center. The goal is to pass the Savannah Convention Center 1-3PM.
