Come to Old Fort Jackson in Savannah for family-friendly educational programming focusing on the lives of soldiers once stationed at Fort Jackson and its 18th-century predecessor, Mud Fort.
Daily cannon firings & fort history program at 11AM & 2PM lead by Coastal Heritage Society interpreters dressed as soldiers from different units present on-site over the 250 years of the fort’s history.
The 20-30 minute fort history program precedes the cannon firing. On weekends, there’s a 1:30PM Riverboat Salute.
