Each season, Soccer Shots uses a different curriculum covering new skills and character words while having fun! They’re kicking off the Spring Season the week of March 18 and want your child to join in on Soccer Island!
Each student Advanced Academics Academy preschool in Pooler will spend most of their learning day with children near their age as they learn student skills and fun subjects from the thematic curriculum such as Simple Machines!
However, they can group with other children that are on the same instructional level for their small group core curriculum including reading, writing, and math if they are ready to move beyond their grade level’s standards. This specialized learning strategy accommodates asynchronous learning so they may experience instruction without frustration or boredom.
Unlike traditional early childhood education programs, students @ Advanced Academics Academy receive curriculum individualized to each student’s learning levels. Classes are taught by experienced, degreed and certified teachers. They do experience the commercial version of holidays like passing out cards, but do not teach religious origins. All questions are deferred to parents.
Like public schools, Advanced Academics Academy preschool serves children Monday through Friday and for a full-term academic year. They blend the Georgia Standards of Excellence with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards to provide a robust learning experience. They differ from public preschool in that teachers @ AAA may teach to children’s interests and learning desires.

This summer camp will be at Advanced Academics Academy’s new campus at 605 US Hwy 80 in Pooler.
Camps are designed to center around a theme with activities alternating between high and low energy and led and free-choice throughout the day. Advanced Academics Academy teachers know that kids learn best through play and in a safe environment where they feel included.
Campers are divided into groups by age to ensure that play is safe and fair. Camp staff work with kids that need a little room of their own by offering a setting to be comfortable in and different activities if they are sensitive to noise or too much activity. No rude or harmful behavior is permitted.
Campers need a water bottle, two snacks and lunch daily. Please wear comfortable clothing that can get stained and shoes that protect your feet.
When should you start looking for a pediatrician? It’s recommended to start in your last trimester.
Ask friends and family for recommendations to find one you’re comfortable with.
Scheduling a prenatal visit is a great way to get to know if you’ve found the right pediatrician.

Tanger Outlets Savannah invites the community to its inaugural Touch-a-Truck event on Sunday, Feb. 25 from 2-4 p.m.
Meet the Pooler Fire Department fire fighters and have close-up experience with the fire truck. Memorial Health will provide car seat safety checks for parents.
Stop by Tanger Outlet’s faux lighthouse any time between 2-4PM to learn about fire safety and see the fire trucks. Coloring books, crayons, and firemen hats will be given to each child in attendance.
Mark your calendars for Feb. 11 2024. We’ve consolidated the event a bit to bring all of the goodness to the front side of the park and we’re using the back part as parking. This should help with the flow of both vehicle and foot traffic at the event. We cannot wait to bring so many amazing vendors, authors, artists, musicians and small businesses back to Tom Triplett Park in Pooler.
Oh… and the kid zone will be in a new location (tennis courts) and have some some incredible new games.
Again we have 2 free workouts and 6 free healthy living workshops – 1 in Spanish!

The home holiday lights show called Going Griswold @ 63 Sweetwater Court in Richmond Hill (formerly of 3 Amberwood Circle holiday lights fame) is a must-see that includes a reindeer bard and gingerbread house. The residents are partnering with The WAY Station Food Pantry this season and will be collecting non-perishable food items until Jan. 2 2024.
A walk-thru experience is offered this year. Please watch your step and stay within the designated path for your safety. You are welcome to go inside the gingerbread house and reindeer barn.

On Dec. 8, TNT farms will open the drive-thru for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Homes and Group Homes that would like to bring their residents to the drive-thru without to wait in long lines. Donations will NOT be accepted from any of these groups on this night. Just come out and enjoy.
