(Savannah pediatric urologists) Dr. Richard Mazo Joins Pediatric Surgery Practice
Tuesday, January 8th, 2019Chances are any Savannah parent whose child has had bladder problems knows Dr. Richard Mazo, a board-certified pediatric urologist who has been in private practice in Savannah for more than 30 years.
Dr. Mazo has now joined the staff of Memorial Health University Physicians | Children’s Care GI & Surgery.
Children’s Care GI & Surgery – which also includes surgeons Dr. William Boswell, Dr. David Carney and Dr. Miller Hamrick and gastroenterologist Dr. Christopher Rittmeyer – recently moved into a new location on the campus of Memorial Health University Medical Center. The physicians now see patients in the Children’s Care Outpatient Center in Building 800.
Mazo is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed residencies in general surgery and urology at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor and a fellowship in urology at Meath Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Mazo also serves as clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah.
