(Savannah Halloween) Wag-o-Ween Weekend 2020

Wag-O-Ween Weekend 2020 is a pet-friendly community event that takes place in downtown Savannah and attracts 1000+ yearly participants.

Money raised supports local animal rescues in their mission to place pets in ‘furever’ homes, subsidize no-barrier community spay and neuter, and support community education programs.

This year’s event will take place over two days – Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 24-25 2020, from noon-5PM – to allow for a less-crowded trick or treat route and social distancing at treat stops.

A $10 donation gets you the official treat destination map, wristband and Doggy Swag Bag.

Pre-orders available now online here and can be picked up before Oct 24.

Please wear masks during these outdoor contact with vendors and treat stops.

SouthCoast Health’s newly updated Urgent Care page includes capabilities to begin or schedule urgent care virtual visits.

Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and medical professionals of SouthCoast Health’s Urgent Care clinic are available to treat you or your children with the convenience of walk-in appointments, minimal waiting and at a lower cost than emergency rooms.

Early Voting in Georgia for the Nov. 3 election started Oct. 12 2020 and ends Oct. 30 2020.

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL

Mail out of absentee ballots began on Sept. 19, 2020 and will end on Oct. 30, 2020.

A request for an absentee ballot may be submitted by mail, email, fax, through the online portal or you may complete the application in person at the Chatham County Board of Registrars office. You must file a separate application for each election and run-off election for which you are requesting an absentee ballot; except if you are a voter who is over the age of 65, disabled, a military service member or spouse of a service member, or an overseas citizen (temporary or permanent).

The Sandbox is also registering for their Discover, Imagine, Grow (D.I.G.), FREE School Readiness program on Thursdays from 10-11AM.
