Save room for pie! FREE Low Country Pie Festival in Savannah, May 1
Lutheran Services of Georgia – a nonprofit that provides social services to people in need throughout Georgia – is hosting a brand new yummy event in Savannah that we can’t wait to attend.
It’s the Low Country Pie Festival at Emmet Park, 300 E. Bay St. on May 1, 2016, noon-4PM.
The event is free and features “all things pie,” including a Pie Bake-Off contest, a pie-eating competition, pie sold by the slice, food trucks, children’s activities and entertainment.
Proceeds from the live pie auction, celebrity pie-in-the-face raffle, and silent auction will benefit Lutheran Services of Georgia in Savannah.

The Savannah office offers many services and programs, including Adoption, Specialized Foster Care (for children who have developmental disabilities, physical disabilities or are medically fragile), Family Intervention Services (parent education and support and supervised family visitation for children who are in Foster care), Refugee and Immigration Services and Disabilities Services.
