This classic tale is a great way to kick off the holiday season. In honor of Veterans and the growth of local businesses, Maven Makers will host Nine Line Apparel, the Savannah-based and Veteran owned company, as one of their vendors. Maven Makers will raise money through a raffle for the Nine Line Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to meeting the financial and specialized needs of severely injured soldiers and their families. Attendees who enter the raffle will have a chance to win tools from Savannah Toolhouse, exotic wood from Case Woodworking, goodie bags from vendors, and a flag shaped gun cabinet from Nine Line Apparel.

Donations of wrapped, unopened candy will be collected at Godley Station Dental in Pooler until noon Friday Nov. 4 for those unable to attend the Nov. 1 candy buyback program detailed below.

On Tues. Nov. 1, Godley Station Dental is participating in Operation Gratitude’s candy buyback program. Trick-or-treaters can bring in goodies and receive $1 per pound of candy donated. Up to five pounds. All donations will be shipped to troops deployed in war zones.
