At this free annual event for K-12 students and their families, you’ll enjoy free, full access to the Savannah Children’s Museum including a life-size maze, slides, a sensory garden, a healthy scavenger hunt, a trail mix remix station, and face painting.
Oatland Island Wildlife Center Summer Camps are week-long day camps available to rising Kindergarteners through rising 8th graders. Campers will discover the world of science through hands-on activities, creative crafts and wildlife investigations. Adult instructors, most of whom are certified teachers, bring a wide range of experience and talent to enhance these camp adventures.
Reminder: Auditions are for Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID is based on the animated classic, featuring all the songs you know & love from “under the sea.”
Come prepared to learn a song, a dance combination & to read from the script. Auditions are being held on two nights, but you only need to attend one! Break legs, everyone!
Children ages 6-12 are invited to join park rangers for a fun week focused on natural and cultural heritage of Georgia. Included is a special living history day at Wormsloe, a junior ranger vest, and hat.
Led by experienced park rangers, your child will have the opportunity to go on nature hikes, learn about conservation efforts, and participate in hands-on activities, crafts, and games that teach them the importance of protecting our natural resources…all while making new friends and having FUN!
Cost: $275 per child. Pre-registration required.
Seven weeks of one-week Junior Ranger camps will be offered for Summer 2024 from June 3 to July 26.

Phyllis Limbacher Tildes is an award-winning author and illustrator of picture books for children ages 0-8. Her love of nature and wildlife is evident in many of her titles. Her latest book, Bunny’s Big Surprise, was released in 2020 and features a variety of low-country wildlife. She has published 24 books, including Counting on Calico in 1995. Her 25th book, a board book version of her popular Eye Guess, will be released in January 2024.

The event kicks off with an Expo to learn about schools, universities, and Engineering companies right here in the Coastal Empire! Then as the students break off for classes the adults are invited to stay and learn how to keep the students interested in STEM and how to prep them for school.
