Musical Kazoociciles Children’s Workshop, Hilton Head Is.

Join Lowcountry artist Amos Hummell in this wacky workshop where we will be crafting a kazoosaphone, a one-of-a kind musical instrument from recycled materials!

FREE Curious Moon Puppet Theatre show, Savannah

This year’s show is “A World of Puppet Stories,” a journey of folk tales from around the world — England, Russia, Africa, and South America. Audiences will cheer for their favorite dog, Skeeter, to finally get his chance to be in the show! This is a traditional puppet show, performed inside a professional, colorful puppet booth. All puppets are handmade by the puppeteer. The show is followed by a demonstration speech about the puppets and puppeteering. All questions will be answered, and children will have a chance to take a closer look at the puppets that interest them.
Ages 3 and up.

Free Family Fun Night, The Sandbox Interactive Children’s Museum, Hilton Head Is.

The Sandbox, An Interactive Children’s Museum, will host “Big Truck” Family Fun Night

This FREE monthly event is from 5:30-7:30 pm and will feature a variety of “big” trucks for kids to explore. Palmetto Electric’s bucket truck, Town of Hilton Head Fire Department, Tommy’s Towing Big Tow Truck, Fort Stewart’s Military Tactical Vehicles and a big “Monster” truck will all be on site.

The evening is free and offered to all families. There will be a special arts and crafts project and as always the museum is open for free admission to all visitors. A picnic dinner will be provided for all attendees.

The Sandbox hosts their monthly Family Fun Nights the first Friday of each month, September through May. The Family Fun Nights are made possible by The Bargain Box. This month’s event is sponsored by Guardian Angels Babysitting Service and SNAP! photography.
