Teen Acting Camp @ Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center

Is your teen passionate about acting and/or want to learn more about it alongside other budding actors? Enroll them in Acting in Scenes for Teens, a fun performing arts camp at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center! 

Teens in rising grades 8^th-12^th will be introduced to the foundations of scene work with another actor, and learn the exciting, collaborative journey that is building a character. We will use games, movement techniques, and improv to build dynamic scenes from the ground up! No acting or theatre experience is necessary.

PAC (Performing Arts Club) is a safe place for them to make friends, get creative, and even learn about the joy of giving, without any pressure to “get it right.”

Casting Call for Child Extras in SCAD Senior Thesis Film

Child extras are needed in a Savannah College of Art & Design senior thesis film being filmed in Savannah.

‘Let’s Eat’ is a coming of age drama about a young adult in college who wants to fit in, however, he feels held back by his best friend’s severe food allergies.

On Sunday Feb 23 2025, 1-5PM, the ‘Let’s Eat’ crew will be filming a flashback scene in the Cavalry Day School cafeteria in Savannah. In order to fill the space, the film crew is looking for students to mingle, eat, and perform in the background of the scene.

Anyone is welcome to join, but minors are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to set.
