Join us at the Jepson Center to develop your young person’s skills as a photographer. We believe that all young people are artists. With that in mind, we will approach photography as professionals do, studying the elements of art. The camp will meet outside as much as possible as we explore our environment in Telfair Square and other nearby locations. We will use DSLR digital cameras and learn about exposure, and a few historical methods involving film. Photography is fun and accessible to everyone.

What a blast for students! This will be a three-hour program with carriage or pony rides, arts & crafts, and learning basic horse care @ Red Gate Farms in Savannah.

Discover music with the violin! Violin Explorations introduces children to the smallest member of the string family: The Violin.
Learn through games, songs, practice and repetition of one skill at a time. This class will cover: parts of the violin, how to hold the violin and bow, how to use the bow and pluck strings, basic rhythms and melodies, basic music reading including staff and notes.
Two classes are offered, one for ages 4-6 years and one for ages 7-10.

The Golf Swing Studio in Savannah runs a year-round junior golf program known as A.S.W.I.NG. for junior golfers of all skill levels between the ages of 6-12.
This great initiative not only gets your junior active and moving but also ignites their passion for golf from an early age.
Start your child on a lifelong journey with the game. And part of the coaching will be developing the young players’ ABCs of movement – Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed – first. These four skills, identified by movement experts, are critical to learning any sport. In fact, children won’t acquire all these skills by only playing golf.

Calvary Day School is excited to offer the Savannah Under the Lights Youth Flag Football League again this fall.
Under the Lights is the exclusive youth flag football partner of Under Armour, Inc.
The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels from Kindergarten to 4th Grade.
This youth flag football league is offered to Calvary students as well as non Calvary students. Participants do not need to attend Calvary to participate.
Under the Lights is for players of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non contact football experience.
The league will take place on Tuesday nights at Calvary Day School from August – October.
