The public is invited to enjoy the Sand Arts Festival but the competition is limited to SCAD students, alumni, staff and faculty. This year, high school students will have the opportunity to compete in teams, as well as take a tour of the campus. Details here on how high school students can register.
The annual Sand Arts Festival, presented by the School of Fine Arts, School of Foundation Studies and sculpture minor program, features competitions in sand castle design, sand sculpture, sand relief and wind sculpture.
SCAD professors and staff members judge the competitions.
