Special opening of Coastal Heritage Society sites on Presidents Day, Savannah
Special opening on Mon. Feb. 21 2022
Five of Coastal Heritage Society’s museums in Savannah will be open for Presidents Day on Mon. Feb. 21 2022.
These sites include Savannah History Museum, Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah Children’s Museum, Harper Fowlkes House and Old Fort Jackson.
Guests can enjoy interactive exhibits and engaging tours at each site through hands-on, immersive activities that illustrate the narratives of Savannah’s past.
Savannah Children’s Museum will have a special open day on Sun. Feb. 20 2022 as well.

Georgia State Railroad Museum offer diesel train rides Fri. Feb. 18 -Mon. Feb. 21 2022
Train rides will be at 10AM, 11AM, Noon, 1PM, 2PM & 3PM
Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served. Visitors must pick up boarding passes in the gift shop before boarding.
