Camp Moon River Summer Camp 2022 in Savannah for rising K-8th graders
Registration is open for Camp Moon River in Savannah for Summer 2022.
Camp Moon River on Savannah Country Day School campus is a full-day traditional style summer day camp with an “overnight feel” for rising K-8th graders. (Extended care offered).
The goal is to provide the highest quality summer day camp experience in the Lowcountry. (Camp Moon River is open to all students. Campers do not need to be SCDS students to attend)
Camp Moon River is a day camp, but your child will get the benefit of an “overnight-camp atmosphere” packaged into the convenience and affordability of a local day camp. While campers do not spend the night, each part of the day is planned with the intention that campers and crew have the opportunity to connect almost as if they were spending 24 hours a day together.
Campers are put into “bunks” according to grade and enrollment and campers have the opportunity to select their daily and weekly choice in addition to bunk and all-camp activities. See a sample day schedule here.
Register for one week or all of the summer weeks of Camp Moon River.
Rising 9th-12th graders have the opportunity to be Junior Counselors in Training (JCITs) and Counselors in Training (CITs). All counselors and specialists will be 18 and older.
