The 5th annual Savannah Bacon Festival is Sept. 7-9 2018 on historic River Street.
Enjoy bacon creations from local restaurants including bacon hush puppies and barbecue bacon burgers; bacon wrapped shrimp and bacon brownies; cherry glazed bacon on a stick; & loaded baked potato bacon dogs.
Waterfront Kidz Zone®
Back by popular demand are the art classes and painting activities in the Waterfront Kidz Zone® at Rousakis Plaza. Activities, games, Piggy Races and more for kids all weekend long.
Live Music Line-Up
DJ Gabe kick things off Friday afternoon in Rousakis Plaza and will keep crowds entertained all weekend
long. Liquid Ginger takes the stage Friday evening and will have River Street rocking into the night! Andrew
Gill, Chyann Rose and Young Americans round out Saturday’s awesome lineup. On Sunday, Ember City
brings their hard‐hitting, high‐intensity sound that is all their own to the waterfront.

SWA proudly announces Savannah Firefighters as the 2018 Bacon Fest Community Outreach Partner.
With their roots dating back to 1759, Savannah firefighters have faithfully protected Savannah and
saved countless lives through the years. In recognition of their service, SWA and its Bacon Fest sponsors are
hosting our Annual Savannah Firefighters’ Breakfast for active and retired Savannah firefighters at 8:30AM,
Friday, September 7th in Rousakis Plaza. Come have a cup of coffee on the waterfront with firefighters
and give thanks for all their hard work.
This event is hosted by Savannah Waterfront Association.
