(Savannah dentists) A child’s 1st dental visit should be by age one

Pediatric Dentists Savannah Krista Hinchey Dogwood Smiles

“Get it done in year one!”

A child’s first dental visit should be by age ONE.

That’s the message from Dr. Krista Hinchey @ Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry of Savannah & The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Krista Hinchey reiterates AAPD’s recommendation that infants need to see the dentist before their 1st birthday.

Studies show that dental costs for children who have their first dental visit before age one are 40 percent lower in the first five years than for those who do not see a dentist prior to their first birthday, Dr. Krista said.

See the AAPD’s recommendation here.
