FREE stargazing family event @ Coastal Ga. Botanical Gardens, Savannah

Don’t miss the FREE winter family stargazing event @ Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens (formerly called The Bamboo Farm and Coastal Gardens ) in Savannah: Gazing in the Garden!

The Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens in conjunction with the Oglethorpe Astronomical Association invite you to a night of stargazing in the Garden. Saturday Feb. 16 2013 Dusk-10 PM. Telescopes will be set up for observation, but you are welcome to bring your own. Free & open to the public.

Before the star-gazing, you’re also invited to a free showing of the 1953 classic movie, “It Came From Outer Space” at 6pm in the Annex and stargazing afterward on the Great Lawn. Free and open to the public. This is a great family event!
