For the second year in a row, Georgia ditched the sales-tax holiday that offers shoppers a weekend of relief at the cash register. But you can still save during South Carolina Sales Tax Holiday. Qualified items include certain clothing, school supplies, computers and computer software and many other items. For details, visit the South Carolina Department of Revenue Website.
Tax free weekend begins Friday, August 5, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. and ends Sunday, August 7, 2011 at midnight.
