Free Ships of the Sea Family Afternoon, Savannah, Sept. 13th
Making Waves Family Day will fill the museum and gardens with hands-on activities for kids—from art and storytelling to marine science, navigation and maritime adventures. Families can explore activities throughout the historic Scarbrough House, along with special experiences from Tybee Island Marine Science Center, Georgia Southern University, Loop It Up Savannah, and Deep Center.
It’s also the debut of some of the museum’s new hands-on family learning experiences, so there will be lots for kids to actually do while they explore the house and maritime collection!
