Savannah Children’s Museum is thrilled to welcome visitors into its first indoor space, an innovative STEAM Center designed to inspire curiosity and hands-on discovery. Open daily from 9AM-3PM., this new indoor addition offers families even more opportunities to grow with Savannah Children’s Museum.
Featured Exhibition: Numbers in Nature
The STEAM Center debuts with Numbers in Nature, an engaging exhibition that reveals the mathematical patterns woven throughout our everyday world. Designed for learners of all ages, this immersive experience blends science, technology, engineering, art, and math into interactive environments that spark creativity and critical thinking.
Step Inside the 1,800-Square-Foot Mirror Maze
At the heart of the exhibition is an 1,800-square-foot Mirror Maze, a world of repeating triangles, reflections, and visual illusions. Guests can navigate this captivating maze, uncover hidden surprises, and discover the secrets within, including the way out. It’s an unforgettable experience that challenges the mind while delivering plenty of fun.
A Historic Setting for Modern Exploration
The STEAM Center is located inside the 1925 historic Storehouse on the campus of the Central of Georgia Railway, positioned between Savannah Children’s Museum and Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah. Admission to the STEAM Center is included with tickets to either museum.
Savannah Train Rides in March 2026
Train rides at Savannah’s Georgia State Railroad Museum in March 2026 are Wednesday, March 18th through Sunday, March 22nd; Wednesday, March 25th through Sunday, March 29th.
Train rides are hourly 10AM-3PM (10AM, 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM )
