Candlelight Processional is a special holiday event held nightly at the America Gardens Theatre in Epcot as part of Holidays Around The World. The event retells the Christmas Story with a special celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir. Water Fun Day in the Park is back on Hilton Head Is.!

This popular event has grown every summer. The first year there was only 3 water fun days then last year there was 5 and now 6 this year. Water Fun days are 4-7 PM Thursdays starting June 28 and concluding August 2. So come to Shelter Cove Park this summer for a fun-filled, festive atmosphere where kids can enjoy inflatable water bounce houses and slides while 103.1 The Drive’s morning personality Scott Keith will be playing the tunes.

Admission: $5 per child with adults getting in free.

Barbecue from the Smokehouse, hot dogs from Street Meet, Giuseppi’s pizza, Coca-Cola, Bud and Bud Light will be sold. All proceeds benefit our children’s scholarship fund which helps guarantee that “no child is denied” recreation opportunities.

The 17th Annual Savannah Asian Festival – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. June 23 – brings an entire continent of unique cultures, cuisines, performances and fun to the Savannah Civic Center. Parking at the Civic Center is free for the day.

Festival attendees can enjoy free, live, stage performances including – thunderous drumming by the Matsuriza Taiko, dancing by Indo American’s of Savannah, and as seen on the hit TV show America’s Got Talent Liang Acrobatic & Comedy Show. This year, the Savannah Asian Festival is featuring celebrity food correspondent Chef, Host, and Restaurateur, Orchid Paulmeier, finalist of the Next Food Network Star Season 7 2011, Orchid will be sampling exotic cuisines from across the continent. Several local restaurants, will be presenting a selection of regional favorites from Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, India, Thailand and many more!

The festival will feature martial arts demonstrations, and dance performances from groups representing Korea, China, Indonesia, Pacific Islands, and Thailand.
All are welcome to browse the Cultural Marketplace to learn more about each country and discover the traditional arts, crafts, fashions and treasures unique to each nation. A continent’s worth of treasures that can be found in the marketplace from calligraphy sets to paper, original paintings, hand-beaded clothing, and exotic accessories and henna body painting. Also enjoy a workshop on Asian & Middle Eastern Tea and martial’s arts workshop by Martial Arts Hall of Famer and 10 degree black belt, Grandmaster Dr. Ronald Frazier Sr. and Ata’s Black Belt Academy Jim Richards.

Children can be entertained as they can learn more about Asian cultures through hands-on activities like crafting origami, Diwali treasure boxes, and marking various Asian flags.

This class continues to enhance your child’s fine and gross motor skills, social skills, strength and coordination through the activities and obstacle courses that emphasize eye-hand coordination, climbing, hanging, jumping, running, and rolling in a fun and safe environment.

Bumble Bees : 60 min classes ages 3-4yrs
This class continues to enhance and challenge your child’s physical, social and cognitive development. Basic tumbling and gymnastics skills, ball handling skills and preschool concepts are taught. Group activities, teamwork, and fun theme-based curriculum keep your child engaged and excited to participate.

Cartwheel basics: ages 5-8yr olds. Skills, drills, and strengthening to learn how to do a cartwheel! (Several other basic tumbling skills will also be practiced)
Sport Readiness Training: ages 6-10yr olds. This class is a perfect opportunity for your child to increase strength, speed and agility with this age-appropriate circuit training course. Ideal for kids who play (or want to join) football, soccer, tennis, gymnastics, swimming, and baseball.

We are loving the online reading logs that are new to Live Oak Public Libraries Summer Reading Program.
Kids create a quick online profile – which can include their photo – and keep track of the book titles they’ve read this summer – which they will need to get their free book from Barnes & Noble. Just go to the Dream Big Zone here.
