Ongoing programs

$5 Fridays – Every Friday, enjoy $5 admission & extended hours. The museum will be open late every Friday until 8 p.m. (Note: Additional discounts or coupons are not permitted.)

Fridays – Cosmic Concerts – Experience total-sensory entertainment as laser lights, high-def images and digital sound collide to create a Cosmic Concert! The Bryan-Gooding Planetarium rocks every Friday night with Cosmic Concert laser light shows at 5, 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Tickets are available at www.moshplanetarium.org or at the door. Tickets are $5 per person per show; laser glasses cost $1.

Check out Skies Over Jacksonville – a 40-minute detailed live star show – daily at 2 PM in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium. The show is dedicated totally to the wonders of backyard stargazing. Visitors will join a planetarium educator in a journey across the sky as bright stars, asterisms, constellations and other surprises are identified and discussed. The presentation environment is that of a forum, not a lecture, so guests are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the adventure! “Skies Over Jacksonville” is recommended for ages 4 & older.
Other Planetarium shows also showing. More details here.
