SCAD Rising Star programs for high school juniors 

Over five weeks, SCAD Rising Star students enroll in two courses and earn college credit. Courses are taught by SCAD faculty in inspiring SCAD spaces, and students live in residence halls. Rising Star students have access to industry-standard technology and resources, including 4K cameras, 3D printers, and the full Adobe Creative Suite. Open to current high school juniors.

During SCAD Summer Seminars, participants choose two weeklong workshops from a palette of academic programs, including animation, fashion, film and television, graphic design, illustration, interior design, photography, sequential art, and more. 2022 Georgia Tech Savannah Summer Programs

Georgia Tech Savannah will continue to offer both virtual and in-person programs in summer 2022. Both virtual programs (STEAM Whistle Workshops) and in-person programs will run June 6-July 22 2022. Programs available for rising 3rd-12th graders.

On-Campus Summer Programs

Every week-long program is uniquely themed to provide a full summer of STEM/STEAM fun and learning for everyone. Additionally, all programs now include a meaningful take-home component so that participants can continue to expand their STEM/STEAM knowledge long after the week is over.

FREE Pre-K programs with Savannah-Chatham Public Schools, Application Process Feb. 15-March 4 2022

Pre-K applications for the 2022-23 school year for Savannah-Chatham public schools will be available from Feb. 15 to March 4, 2022. When completing the application, be prepared to submit your child’s birth certificate and proof of address in the application. Lottery notifications will be sent on April 6, 2022​

To participate in the Pre-K Program for School Year 22-23, children must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2022 and must be a resident of Chatham County. ​

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System has 65 Georgia Lottery funded Pre-K classes. The Pre-Kindergarten program provides a full day (6.5 hours) of appropriate instructional services to students for the regular school calendar year. The purpose of the Pre-K Program is school readiness and transition to Kindergarten for success in later school years.
