Savannah public schools: Applications available Feb. 15 for free, lottery-funded Pre-K for 2022-23
FREE Pre-K programs with Savannah-Chatham Public Schools, Application Process Feb. 15-March 4 2022
Pre-K applications for the 2022-23 school year for Savannah-Chatham public schools will be available from Feb. 15 to March 4, 2022. When completing the application, be prepared to submit your child’s birth certificate and proof of address in the application. Lottery notifications will be sent on April 6, 2022
To participate in the Pre-K Program for School Year 22-23, children must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2022 and must be a resident of Chatham County.
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System has 65 Georgia Lottery funded Pre-K classes. The Pre-Kindergarten program provides a full day (6.5 hours) of appropriate instructional services to students for the regular school calendar year. The purpose of the Pre-K Program is school readiness and transition to Kindergarten for success in later school years.

FREE Pre-K programs @ YMCA of Coastal Georgia including Habersham & West Chatham branches
Starting in March, YMCA of Coastal Georgia will have pre-K spots open across the region, particularly at the Habersham and West Chatham locations.
