50th Anniversary Celebrations
To celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, the most magical place on Earth is hosting the most magical celebration. Over the next 18-months Walt Disney World Resort will introducing new entertainment, attractions and technology.
Disney Genie
This brand new complimentary feature within My Disney Experience provides you customized recommendations and personalized park itineraries allowing you to enhance your vacation experience. You can even upgrade to Genie Plus to maximize your park time and skip the lines at specific attractions.
New Attractions
The long-awaited Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has opened in EPCOT and even more new attractions are opening next year including TRON Lightcycle Run inside Magic Kingdom and the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. And of course we can’t leave out the new Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story lands in Hollywood Studios that opened in 2019.
Entertainment & Fireworks
Evening entertainment has always been a part of the Walt Disney World experience and there are two new options; Enchantment in Magic Kingdom and Harmonious in EPCOT. Both feature brilliant lighting, fireworks, and Disney storytelling. And KiteTails has premiered at Animal Kingdom bringing the stories of Lion King and Jungle Book to life with elaborate 3D kites.
COVID Re-Openings
Within the last few weeks character meet-and-greets (now socially distanced) have returned and more resort hotels have re-opened to welcome on-resort guests. Walt Disney World is moving even closer to pre-COVID operations.
