Free Savannah Bacon Fest 2016, Sept. 2 & 3
The 3rd annual Savannah Bacon Festival is Sept. 2&3 on historic River Street.
Thomas Claxton & the Myth will take the Rousakis Riverfront Arbor Stage on Fri. Sept. 2 from 7-10PM. My Maiden Name will perform Saturday from 5-7PM. Headlining the 2016 Bacon Festival is Dr. Bacon out of Asheville, NC. Dr. Bacon begins at 7:30PM Sat. Sept. 3.
Enjoy bacon creations from local restaurants including bacon hush puppies and barbecue bacon burgers; bacon wrapped shrimp and bacon brownies; cherry glazed bacon on a stick; & loaded baked potato bacon dogs.
