Have you been to The Sandbox Interactive Children’s Museum on Hilton Head Is. lately?
Spring 2016 is a great time go as the Sandbox has a lot going on!
Located just off Pope Avenue on the south end of Hilton Head Island (about a 60 min. drive from Savannah), this interactive museum provides a unique place for educational play between children and their parents, grandparents or caregivers.
Little ones from ages infant to eight will be captivated by the fun filled play centers and engaging activities.

Looking for an Easter event that’s more than just plastic eggs and candy?
Come out and play at an Easter EGGs-travaganza.
Join The Sandbox for a family-friendly event guaranteed to fill your Easter basket (feel free to bring your own, bags will be available)with fabulous and fun.
In addition to an outdoor (indoor if rain) Easter egg hunt (2:30PM and 4PM), there will be a bounce house (weather permitting), face painting, take-home arts and crafts, interactive exhibits, games inside and out, cookie decorating.
Space and activities will be limited in the event of inclement weather (coupons not valid for this special event)
Event admission: $5 for members, $10 for non-members. Military and senior discounts available.

Coming Soon: A Brand New Exhibit The “Island Grocery Checkout”
In Island Grocery where everything is child-sized (even the grocery carts), children will be able to explore an environment that mimics the real thing. Shelves will be filled with play food products that range from lemons to ketchup to cereal. Follow the food chain.
The active process of shopping for food challenges young learners to develop and apply math skills including sorting, classifying, calculations and the use of money, as well as concepts related to health and nutrition.
