Memorial Health celebrates all things kids Sunday, March 8 @ Southern Women’s Show

MH_2013Tag_under_periodSunday March 8 is Mother-Daughter Day at the Southern Women’s Show in Savannah and Memorial Health is celebrating all things kids.

The Sunday schedule involves a sugary drinks demo, height and weight checks, nutrition info, safe sleep demos, SafeKids with information on bike, car seat, water and pedestrian safety as well as poison prevention, games, teen talk, and information on immunizations.

A Zumba class especially for kids will be held at noon Sunday, and look for cooking demos on healthy snacks for children at 1:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

How to get FREE Admission

You can earn free admission to the show Sunday if you are among the first 50 people to show up with three boxes of character-decorated adhesive bandages (like Band-Aids), which will be donated to The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center.

Meet the Snow Sisters from Frozen

The Snow Queen and Snow Princess will be appearing on Sunday, March 8 for Mother Daughter Day from 11AM-1PM. The first 50 guests will receive a signed poster and a $25 off coupon for Princess Productions. Join the Snow Sisters on the Fashion & Entertainment Stage for a 15-minute skit and sing along at 11:30am.
